Broccoli Chicken Chowder

Ingredients
2 packages frozen cut broccoli (10 oz /300 g each) 1 cup water (250 ml) 1 cup milk (250 ml) 1 can skim evaporated milk (13.5 oz/385ml) 2 cans condensed cream of chicken soup (10 oz/284 ml each) 1 tbsp chicken bouillon powder (15 ml) 1/2 tsp ground oregano (2 ml) 1/2 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast halves (about 2) diced
(225 g) 1 tbsp oil (15 ml)
Cook broccoli in 1 cup water until tender. Don't drain - puree
broccoli and water in blender. Return to pan.
Add milk, chicken soup, bouillon powder & oregano. Stir.
Brown chicken in oil (or spray pan with cooking oil spray). Add to
broccoli mixture. Simmer for 5 minutes, stirring
occasionally.
Makes 9 cups of soup.
NOTE: You can substitute left over chicken or turkey and fresh broccoli.
