Ingredients
1 package Oriental Ramen Noodle
1 Cup Raw Vegetables, cut thin (onions, green peppers, carrots, etc)
1/2 tomato, diced
Spices as desired. Choose from the following strong spices - Chinese Five
Spice, Oyster Flavored Sauce, Hoisin Sauce, Roasted Sesame Oil.
Additional Seasoning if desired- soy sauce, ginger,
bouillon, honey, tomatoes or ketchup, salt, pepper, and cornstarch to thicken
the broth.
Optional: Add leftover bits of cooked
meat, or pre-cooked strips or chicken, pork, or beef.
Directions
Cook the ramen in boiling water per the package directions to soften.
Run cold water over the pasta and set aside.
Heat a Tablespoons of Olive or Peanut Oil in a skillet on the stove top.
When very hot, stir fry the vegetables until tender. Add cooked meat, if
desired. Add the chopped tomatoes and your selected spices and seasonings,
as well as the spice packet that comes with the Oriental Noodles. Stir
another minute until well blended and the tomatoes are cooked.
Finally, just add the noodles and stir until hot. If you want a thicker
sauce, add a little cornstarch to a small amount of water, stir in some of the
broth to bring up the temperature, and then add to your skillet
.
