How Are You Managing Your Money

By Francis Hosein

Do you know that the majority of people have difficulty in managing their money and if you are going through this problem in your life you are not alone and there is help out there for you.

Avoid

If you find yourself attempting to avoid not looking at your finance because you are afraid to make changes in cutting back your life style you are not alone.

You may feel that if you look at your finance you will be deprive, you may feel poor, you may feel that you have work hard and you have nothing to show for it.

Average debt

The average debt for majority of people is 20 thousand and with the right mind set you can bring this down.

You are not a failure you just fail to plan hoping things will work in time but some changes in your spending habits have not changed.

Have credit card debt is paying for yesterdays debt when you felt you wanted something that you could not live without and you are paying for it with tomorrows payment.

Imagine you are in constant debt for your difficulty to hold back on instant gratification and this may be the feeling of entitlement, fear of not having or a shame others find out you are broke.

Blaming your partner

If you find yourself blaming your partner or yourself for the difficulty you are in it is a waste of time and energy that can go to solving the problem.

Focusing on blaming keeps you from working towards a solution and creates sleepless nights worrying about the problem and disharmony in the couple.

This show anger misplaced and focus in the wrong place.

Target amount

In managing your money is to start cutting back on the easy thing that you may not feel hurt letting go.

It is not in your best interest to get involve with long term contracts that is not a part of your must have such as your mortgage, car loan, student loan, or medical bills because you do not know what may happen for you in the months to come and you may not be able to follow through and you will be paying a long time for that contract.

Taking the time to compare shopping is difficult in the beginning and with time it pays off for you and your family.

Ask questions about discounts for some places you may shop give discounts at certain days you shop or for having certain cards.

Take the time to check on how much you spend each month for necessary needs things that you must have such as bills, food, transport, and have a target amount you want to achieve to cut spending the money you gain may help you to pay another bill or help your family have an outing.

It is a good thing to have a chart that you can see with you and your partner working towards that goal while encouraging each other.

Your objective

Your objective is not to make money the center of your whole life and to have it place somewhere in the background because freedom maybe more important to you and to do so is to feel you have control over your money.

Conclusion : Managing your money can happen with small step and guidance and support from others when you need it.
