Chicken and Stuffing Casserole

1 large can chicken (or 2 cups diced cooked chicken)
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 cup fresh or frozen broccoli
2 stalks celery, chopped
1 cup water
1/4 cup margarine
1 7-ounce package seasoned stuffing mix
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/3 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon poultry seasoning, thyme or sage (optional)
1 cup cheese (topping - optional)

Heat water and margarine to boiling on the stove.  Add stuffing mix, and mix to moisten.

Pat half the mixture into the bottom of a casserole dish.

Mix the rest of the ingredients.  Spread on top of the stuffing.  Take the remaining stuffing and put on the top.

Bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes.  Top with cheese and bake 5 minutes more or until cheese is melted.
