Question: When is a bean not a
bean?
Answer: When it comes out of a
store bought can!
The difference between fresh beans and
those that come out of a store bought can never ceases to amaze me. It's like
they are not even the same vegetable!
When you can them yourself, they don't get
that awful flavor that they get when they are canned commercially.
Here is a recipe that is a lot of people's
favorite for green beans. For simplicity's sake, I'll use canned beans in the
ingredients. However, if you can, use FRESH! What a difference!
Ingredients
2 Cans Green Beans, Drained
1 Can Cream of Mushroom Soup
1/4 Can Milk
1 Can Onion Rings
Directions
Mix Green Beans with soup and milk. Top
with Onion Rings. Bake at 350 degrees until bubbly. Serves 6.
