Barbecued Pork Chops
If you've been afraid to barbecue pork chops for fear they won't
get cooked, here is a recipe you will enjoy that you know will be safe.
The first part (in the oven) can be done ahead of time. Then you need only
place them on the grill.
Ingredients
6 medium pork chops
1 Tbs vegetable oil
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup vinegar
1 medium size can tomatoes
Salt and pepper
Use the oil to brown the pork chops in a skillet on the stove.
Place the pork chops in a baking dish.
Mix all the ingredients together, and pour over the pork chops.
Bake for 50 minutes at 350 degrees. Remove from pan, saving the juices.Place on grill for another 15 minutes
to flavor. Turn and baste the pork chops frequently with the leftover
juices. If necessary, add a little barbecue sauce to extend the juices and
thicken the sauce.
