Gently fold mixture together with 1 1/2 cups milk until just combined and
moistened. The mixture should be lumpy. Do not over mix or the muffins will be
tough and not rise evenly.
Divide the muffin mixture evenly into well-greased deep
muffin tins and bake for 15-18 minutes or unitl golden brown and come away
from the sides of the tin.
Cool the muffins in the tin for 10 minutes, then loosen with
a knife and transfer to a wire rack.
